Ribbon Chair by Pierre Paulin for Artifort. Designed in 1966, it is defined by the interplay of positive and negative space, the Ribbon Chair by Pierre Paulin is a fluid, continuous form that twists and turns like a Ribbon , cradling the human body in a single, seamless gesture. This design icon is part of the permanent collections of museums worldwide. In production since 1966, sells for approximately 15 000$CAD new today. In good vintage condition with age appropriate wear, reupholstered sometime in the 90's. Presents some sun-fading on the back, please refer to all photos. Made in the Netherlands, 1970's. If you'd like to reupholster this chair, we can recommend someone competent locally. CAN/US shipping available upon request. *Due to the size, please contact us for shipping inquiries.
